The Biomimetic Office Building

Sustainability taken a step further. Building close to nature.

The name says it all. And the great model of nature is present in the building in many respects. "If you take nature as a model," says Michael Pawlyn of exploration architecture, "it's like benefiting from 3.8 billion years of research & development." Together with around 15 specialists, BETTR and exploration architecture have designed the office building based on new standards, beyond superficial sustainability and greenwashing, with a focus on ensuring that the building represents more than just a collection of offices and desks. It is to become a place where people come together to work and to communicate. The Biomimetic Office Building represents the physical infrastructure that should enable the best possible working environment.
